Be Patient and Read On

The Life Path XXX suggests that you entered this plane with a gift for investigation, analysis, and keen observation. You are a thinker of the first order. You evaluate situations very quickly, and with amazing accuracy. As a result, you are thorough and complete in your work, the perfectionist who expects everyone else to meet a high standard of performance, too.

The Life Path XXX person is a peaceful and affectionate soul. But you guard your connection to people carefully. It's easy for you to detect deception and recognize insincere people, and you avoid them. You aren't one to have a wide circle of friends, but once you accept someone as a friend, it's for life. It's as if you must get to know someone a lot better before you allow the wall surrounding you to be penetrated. Chances are you are a very charming and refined individual with great poise and a quick wit. Nonetheless, there is an exclusiveness about you. You probably aren't a very social person. Your reserve is often taken to be aloofness, but actually, it's not that at all. It is merely a cover up for your basic feeling of insecurity. There's no rush, It takes time for you to warm up to new friends. Clubs and organizations hold little interest for you; you are not a joiner.

WAIT A MINUTE!!

You must be thinking...

WHAT HAS ALL THIS GOT TO DO WITH ANYTHING?

Well...

Recently, I received an email which was relating to a birthday clock and it talks about the personality of a person based on their birthday. After several clicks, I ended up in one link that had my attention (not porn or Sutha haha lol..).

I was impressed by the level of accuracy of the personality description. Normally, most of this articles state general stuff like being smart, loving, trustworthy etc..(but off course there are some that are quite awesome too..) but then while reading this article it suddenly came to me...

SAC..

I first joined SAC during the year of 2007, when I was in ACCA part 2 studying paper 2.1-2.4 (yes that was the old syllable). This actually happened by chance as I for one wanted to just enjoy college life (I was already involved in many club activities during my school days..) But my friend Jeremy came to me, Sutha and Chun Howe telling us about SAC. We were skeptical at first but soon Chun Howe and Sutha applied for it and I decided to just follow the flow. You can call it herd instinct hahaha..never did I expect SAC to turn out the way it did..

Thankfully, we (Chun Howe, Sutha and Me) 3 made it to the 2007 board. This caught us by surprise. We attended our first meeting and then everything just fell into place (at least for Chun Howe and Sutha haha). I on the other hand, was SUPER SUPER quiet. I didn't dare talk to anyone but Sutha or Chun Howe (although I'm naturally a more reserved person but never in my life was I that quiet or shy O.o) It really took some time for me to get used to SAC and eventually I enjoyed my time there. Everyone was unique and crazy fun in their own way hahahaha

Sadly, during the year, a good friend of mine Chun Howe has left to further his studies in UK. What a excellent person he was and there was just so much he could do!! In a short period of 6 months, most of us SAC members (especially the seniors!!) were so impress with him!! Awesome person and definitely a contender for the president post if he would have stayed on!! (No off to Sof ya haha..but I'm sure most old committee and even Sof would have agreed that he would have been a contender for the post as well) We 3 will always remember Jessica and Ashley!! The hard labour we went through to produce them :D

So 2007 passes by and its now 2008, it was down to me and Sutha from the initial 3..

We went through the transition process of SAC 2007 to SAC 2008. It was weird that we as the remaining committee members were now Seniors. hahaha

This time it was much easier for me to get to know the new members hahahaha and I must say it was definitely a great learning experience and something memorable!!

Finally, if you have read the personality trait article above. Whatever I'm going to say below will make more sense..

I hope that the description of my personality trait (which might not be 100% accurate but its quite reasonable..the part on clubs holding little interest in me is so false haha) would help you guys understand me more.

Having been in the YEP and Editorial Board and also a prefect during my time in secondary school. I became a person who really gives pride for being effective and find it hard to tolerate inefficiency. I also expect others to meet a certain standard or level of performance and am critical. Complaints and being negative are also signs of weakness in my eyes. I tend to get discouraged and lose commitment easily if I encounter any of the above points. I'm also not a very social person and love peace thus don't take anything personally if it looks like I don't want to talk at times.

However, I also understand that we humans are all different in their own ways. Sometime, there is really no right or wrong to things!!

So I will like to apologise for whatever things that I have said or done if any to anyone in SAC or ACCA/CAT!! Don't take it personally ya!

On a lighter note..Seriously, time spent with you all in Social Gathering, Camp and etc has been really memorable!! It has been a very important learning experience to me!! A useful experience to bring forward to the corporate world in the future!

Last but not least, I will like to wish everyone that I have worked with before, good luck in life and enjoy life as we are still young brats hahahah

So the process starts once again..but this time most of us wont be there..therefore..

I would like to wish the the President-elect for SAC 2009 (Rebekah). All the best!! You have a hard act to follow in terms of Sofie hahaha (don't get stressed by this statement :P)

Also to all new members.. Enjoy being a SAC member!! It might get bit crazy at times hahaha but what is life without some excitement and challenges.

Alas, this will be my last post as I will be passing the responsibility of this blog to the new Head of IT & Logistic Department, Mr Chai Seng Kim. I'm sure he will do an outstanding job in handling the IT & Logistic aspect of SAC!!

Hopefully this time I don't hear anything about bullying or any complaints again :P really swt!! Now that was an ear sore and something I couldn't understand haha..please email me if you were not joking haha :P

Cheers!!

PS : I typed this on the day our last meeting was..hahahha..anyway thanks a lot for reading my super long post!!
