The M.A.D. Johor Flood Charity Drive.

The SAC held a Make A Difference (M.A.D.) charity drive for the unfortunate victims of the Johor Flood. Throughout the period of the 29th of January to the 2nd of February, we set up a booth and rather painstakingly and *irritatingly* (yes, we know too) went around the college to collect money from our generous Sunway students.

When it comes to donations, any amount of generousity is greatly appreciated.

And to our delight, we managed to collect an enormous amount of RM 2465.91 in a mere 4 days!

All the money was spent to purchase the following items:

White socks - 10 packs of 12 pairs (120 pairs)
Toothbrush - 2 packs of 12 pieces (24 pieces)
Panadol Tablets - 2 boxes of 15 packs (30 packs)
Plasters - 3 boxes
Toothpaste - 2 packs of 12 boxes (24 boxes)
Towels - 6 packs of 3 pieces (18 pieces)
Shower cream - 12 bottles
Shampoo - 6 packs of 6 bottles (36 bottles)
Rice cooker - 12 boxes
Toilet rolls - 4 big packs of 3 individual packs (12 packs)
Salt - 2 big packs of 12 individual packs (24 packs)
Sugar - 2 big packs of 12 individual packs (24 packs)
Nescafe refill - 1 box of 24 packs
Rice - 6 packs
Milo refill - 1 box of 12 packs
Condense milk (creamer) - 1 box of 48 cans
Dettol antiseptic liquid - 24 bottles
Cooking oil - 2 boxes of 17 packs (34 packs)
Detergent - 2 boxes of 14 packs (28 packs)
Instant noodles - 2 boxes of 18 packs (36 packs)
Biscuits - 13 tins
Water - 50 bottles of 5 liter


All the items were sent to Johor with the help of the ACCA Student Ambassadors.

SAC once again thanks the entire population of Sunway University College! It was impossible to have done it without you guys... Thanks!
